Time Best Spent is a collection of 35mm film photographs from my backcountry travels between 2020-2022. This zine focuses on the three regions of the American West that have left the greatest impact on me and shaped me the most not only as a photographer, but as a person: the American Southwest, California's Sierra Nevada Mountains, and Washington's Cascade Mountains. While I make both digital and analog photographs on these journeys, my film photographs always mean the most to me personally, and I feel they give the raw and rugged beauty of these wild spaces a unique character that allows these special places to shine like they deserve to.

Made up of 86 photographs over 84 pages, including multiple full page and two-page spread photographs, this self-designed zine contains all of my best and personal favorite analog landscape photography from the past three years, along with brief writing passages about the ways the three regions have made their mark on me.
