Time Best Spent is a collection of 35mm film photographs from Brock’s backcountry travels between 2020-2022. This zine focuses on the three regions of the American West that have left the greatest impact on Brock and shaped him not only as a photographer, but as a person: the American Southwest, California's Sierra Nevada Mountains, and Washington's Cascade Mountains. Photographing these spaces on film gives the raw and rugged beauty of these wild spaces a unique character that allows them to shine most authentically.
Made up of 86 photographs over 84 pages, including multiple full page and two-page spread photographs, this self-designed zine contains personal favorite analog landscape photography from Brock’s first three years of analog photography, along with brief writing passages.
